we all start as strangers.
Well folks, we are officially in single digits for the count down until my Hong Kong journey begins. Nine days from now I will boarding my plane. I received my itinerary from Disney last night at around one o' clock in the morning (which is 1pm in HK). As of now, the two girls I know that will be starting with me (Katie and Brittany) have not received their flight schedules, so I am not positive if we will be flying over together or not. As of now, my flight schedule is as following:
Saturday October 5
flight departs from orlando: 7:59am
arrival in chicago: 9:50am
departure from chicago: 12:30pm (which is 11:30am orlando time since they are a hour behind us)
Sunday October 6
arrival in hong kong: 17:20 (5:20pm Hong Kong time, which is really 5:20am orlando time since they are twelve hours ahead)
I think this is right...It is kind of confusing with all the time changes, but currently looking at about 20 hours on a plane.
This week I also got a wonderful pink surprise in the mail from one of my best friends from Michigan. Megan sent me lots of little Belle goodies which you can peek at below.
She is such a gem, thanks again Megatron.
When I arrive in Hong Kong, I won't have my phone and the best way to contact me will be through skype, so please feel free to add me - cassidy.tompkins
Finally, last but not least, I am in the process of trying to sell my car before heading out. The craigslist posting is below. Please please please pass the word along.
