i like to party and by party i mean take naps
My life is slowly beginning to fall in to routine here in HK, which is very nice. It is finally feeling like I live here and am not just on an extended vacation.
This week consisted of more dinner experiments...
Food options are slowly getting better. The weather here however, has not been getting better. The typhoon that is currently really hurting the Philippians has had some repercussions on Hong Kong. We have had some high winds and icky grey skies with the occasional rain storm all week.
With my down time this week I have only played in the park once. We only had about an hour so we did not get to ride much either. Also, Katie, Sam, and I may or may not have stalked Belle a little on her way to the castle...oops.
Her line was way too long, so we didn't get our picture with her... However, we did find some yummy ice cream coke floats near small world!
On my day off I went to the mall across from where we live and bought some storage units I have really been needing for in my closet. As if I don't stand out already, carrying around these giant boxes in the mall made me look even more ridiculous.
Tuesday night was Brittany's birthday so we went out to central for dinner. The night was rainy and gross as usual, but it was fun.
Wednesday was my last day off this week, so I ventured out to do more shopping. Started the day off with some dim sum.
One I really liked was bbq pork bun...
Seriously, so so good.
From there I went to a 5 story forever 21 in Causeway Bay. I seriously was in that store for like 3 hours. It was awesome. I also went to hidden markets in this mall type building where I found some other fun trinkets.For only spending like $100 American, I got some pretty good stuff!
Back to work tomorrow! Yay! I have missed...
