This (really) Is Halloween!

After celebrating for the last 3 months, I can finally, officially say, Happy Halloween!
The park is currently all decked out for Halloween, but not for much longer. With the Halloween season coming to a close, the time to say goodbye is coming quickly.

Including soon having to say goodbye for now to my dear friends, Jack and Sally.

Sally's #1 fan <3
Before Mike and I dearly depart Hong Kong, we are heading to Tokyo for one last Asia Adventure. Although we have not quite lined up all the details as far as what we will be doing when we get back to America, our plan is to spend some time with family in New York before heading to Orlando for Thanksgiving. Until then, we wanted to update you with what we have been doing out in Hong Kong.

We had some special visitors here in Hong Kong a few weeks back, Mike's brother, Justin, his girlfriend Jen, and some of their friends. While I was working, Mike was able to play tour guide and show them some of the top sites here in Hong Kong.
 The markets and Big Buddha

 Chicken feet
Ruins of St. Paul and gambling in Macau
And they even made a special side trip to see Sally at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Finishing off our HK to do list was introducing Mike to some HK style french toast, paying my taxes way too many times, eating as much Japanese Ramen as humanly possible, and saying goodbye to our favorite, Pepper Lunch.

Also on our to do list was something one of the members of our cosmetology team had asked for since our arrival, to model her make up line, Less Is More Make Up, along side of Tony Hung Photography. It was such a fun shoot, and the team was really great at making us feel comfortable. If you are planning a wedding in HK, be sure to reach out to them! Check out a sneak peek here:

One of my favorite parts about this shoot was the location, the ghost town in Nam Sang Wai. I had visited here about 3 years ago, to the day, so it was fun showing this local spot to Mike.

Saying goodbye is never easy, and I am honestly getting tired of all my friends living so far away, however, I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to meet so many new people on this contract. We celebrated this friendship with one of my favorite farewell HK activities, Chinese BBQ.

Mike, the adventurous eater, even tried fish head!
gonna miss these friends <3

We are very sad to be leaving Hong Kong, but we are hoping to be back sooner than one might think (:

Til then HK!
