someday these dreams will all be real, til then we'll wish upon the moon
Since coming back from Alaska Mike had officially started his "new" job back with photopass at Disney World. Right now you can find him most days wandering the streets at Magic Kingdom, sweatin in the sun, and making a whole lot of memories.
It's fun with both of us having passes to Disney again, which results in a LOT of time spent with different groups of people playing in the parks.
Shout out to Trisler Trove for this adorable autographable photo frame!
We got to do the cast member preview for Test Track, however, our car had no sound, so I have no idea what to really say about this ride yet. Gonna need a round 2. So let's talk new treaties! This dessert churro milkshake topped with a sugar cookie, churro, and cake pop mickey bar was pretty tasty but very whippy less milkshake-like. The cake pop was my favorite part.
Had a fun little magical moment when I went to get my bubble bread from Tomorrowland and they gave me a free totcho!
Pepperoni ravioli and oreo ravioli were pretty high on the Epcot tasty scale for us though!
I also got to work a little bit at Disney! I had my Disney Live Entertainment orientation, where we got the backstage tour of Lion King, and learned a little more about what making magic looks like.Mike and I also recently visited the Hoop De Doo Review to see miss Claire shine on stage! We actually have ended up spending a lot of time at Fort Wilderness this Summer because Mike's family is in town for their annual trip to Orlando, and his parents are staying in their RV here. We had the chance to visit and camp with them a few days as well.We even visited the horses on Triple D Ranch! Our 7th wedding anniversary popped up while we were extra busy, but it was nice to be able to grab dinner together at Trails End and had a celebratory strawberry shortcake on the beach together. We are going to Vero Beach in August to actually celebrate together later, but it was nice to be able to connect for a minute amongst the busy.
Another thing keeping me busy this Summer has been singing in the choir of Encore's production of Hunchback of Notre Dame!
I had a great time in Hello Dolly last year, and it was a great way to make some connections, but I did not expect 250 people to be in the choir this time. While we are a full wall of sound and it's amazing to see, I wish I could see the actual show onstage a little better from my spot at the very very very top tier and back row.
Congratulations to Cheryl and Brad!
I somehow ended up being the photographer and helped out in grabbing some of the pictures of the day.
Don't worry I was paid handsomely in banana pudding so it was all worth it.
The rest of the weekend we spent a lot of time at playgrounds with Luca.I also got to eat one of my favorite foods on repeat, biscuits! We had some other family time at a bbq at my cousins place where we got to swim and eat some other tasty food. We pet all the dogs and celebrated some milestone birthdays this week also. One day we spent some time going to the beach and even saw a dolphin.
Lots of family fun time on this trip and definitely good food! I was very glad I got to go.
This month we have Mike's family in town, so I imagine we will be spending a lot more time at the theme parks again before filming starts picking back up again. Mike and I did get a little date night to go see the new Fantastic 4 movie, and we loved it!
