It’s an odd thing but anyone who disappears is said to be in San Francisco - Oscar Wilde

Three weekends of shows complete, and after this week we start shows every evening (and less than 2 weeks til Mike comes for Christmas!).  



This wasn't the only performance opportunity I had this week, however. I had a very special chance this week to spend some time with some familiar faces at a Winterfest event at Trader Joes.



We have had a great time exploring and getting to know one another on our days off as well. Our first trip of the week was to Muir Woods, where we had a blast spending some time in nature and seeing the Red Wood Trees.










On the drive back to San Jose, we passed through San Fransisco and stopped for Brunch at Sweet Maple, who is known for their incredible french toast. 


The Full House house  was just around the corner from Sweet Maple, and was sort of a disappointment because not only was it painted different colors from the tv show, it was also under construction. The saddest realization for me was that it was not directly across the street from a park like I had assumed in the opening credits.

We passed the Painted Ladies and Alamo Square Park where the actual park is located around sunset, and it was like we were starring in our own Full House opening credits. 



Our next adventure the following day was a trip out to Napa Valley and Sonoma for some wine tasting at Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves. 




After the tasting, they showed us the caves and we walked around downtown Sonoma.


The following week of adventuring took us back to San Fransisco to the Walt Disney Family Museum. If you have seen the film "Walt Before Mickey" before, this museum is similar to the film in the way that it talks a lot about Walt's earlier years and his love of animation.

They were playing scenes from Cinderella and Alice and Wonderland in this room and the music made me miss Disney

My favorite stop in the museum was the bench where Walt dreamed up his idea for the Disneyland parks.




The final stop of our San Fran trip was a pit stop to take pictures with the Golden Gate Bridge. I am really starting to love this city and I am loving the chance to explore, all while doing what I love.
