skip the drama, stay with mama (happy halloween hong kong!)

Let's Get Wicked left us a Halloween miracle, and was extended through November 14! I was thrilled to spending an additional 2 weeks in the lair with Mother Gothel. Sorry for the overload of photos, but also not, because, this show is awesome.

Lets Get Wicked (full show here) was an absolute blast, and I have enjoy every minute with Mother Gothel. The last show was unavoidable, but I swear you could have locked Mother Gothel up in that tower and she would have been happy to stay there forever. I have always love Tangled, and really wanted to be apart of the story, and although it came in a way I never expected, I now would say my time with Mother has been one of my most rewarding and favorite Disney achievements. She terrified me at first, but we had a great time together, and I will forever cherish these days.
I also cherish my time at Mickey and the Wondrous Book still swimming with Ariel also, especially now that I am back to full time at it.

I will miss Halloween season in the park, but I am very glad I got to meet Sally before it was totally over-

Considering last year they put the Christmas tree up on Halloween day, I am just glad I was able to celebrate actual Halloween this year on the day. I especially loved seeing everyones costumes-
It's also been fun to explore the park with some of the new cast who haven't experienced it yet-
Food adventures have mostly been with Lets Get Wicked friends who wanted to experience HK food before they went home. One of these meals was at the Chinese Library, where the food was actually incredible, but the giant lazy susan on the table was the star.
We had another big outing for Annabel's farewell dim sum dinner at Tim Ho Wan-
We had a double date with our friends Holli and Justin at Bones N Blades, where their pulled pork sandwich almost made me cry because it made me think of Orlando-

One of my favorite nights was Margarita night at Fini's with bottomless margaritas and margarita pizza, and not only did we had the best time, but that pizza was amazing!

One of my favorite snacks this month was the delicious pancake burger from Hero's Friday-

Other favorite snack was the classic Arirang Hot Dog (which everyone in HK must go eat at because I am always afraid they will go out of business)-

Mike and I had a little cute date where we visited Ruby Tuesday and had a good ol American meal-

My favorite part of this meal though was out the window they were filming something, and we got to watch for a bit-
After Mike finally dragged me away, we went to the 4D IMAX movie theater to watch The Eternals, which we both loved. I have never done 4D before, where the seats move and they spray you with mist and wind, and I am not gonna lie I did not love that, but it was fun for this film specifically.

Mike and I also had a little date where we got food from a bunch of places and had a little picnic at the harbour-

We had perogies from Dacha and they were amazing, some chicken wings from Wingman, and my favorite, cookie department

The weather has also cooled down enough to go on some bike rides lately as well (plus it is the only outdoor activity we are allowed to really take our masks off to do, even with 0 cases since February in HK)-
After celebrating Halloween for an additional 2 months, the holiday finally came. We did not actually do much on the real day, but we did have a Halloween party at La Vista Mexican Restaurant, complete with a costume parade, and delicious food.
We all dressed up as our sweet friend Hei Hei! One for each day of the week - MonHei, TuesHei, WednesHei, ThursHei,FriHei,SaturHei, and SunHei!
The costume parade got a little intense, and SOMEHOW the Hei Hei's only came in 3rd place even after this riveting performance.

But we lost to Osmond, the ugly step sister from Shrek, and I will accept that-

Before Annabel flew back to Cincinnati, she had one final request to go visit the monkeys at Monkey Hill. It took us a little bit to find the monkeys, but they were camping out by the dumpsters, and there were SO many of them.

This little guy chomping on the wires was my favorite
After a long day of visiting the monkeys, we also stopped for the best thai massage I have ever had. Please go and ask for walk walk Lisa or Nina and tip them well.
With holidays coming up, we are missing our friends and family lots. We are grateful to have spent a lot of time of facetime with family and friends lately, but definitely wish we could be with all of you in person this holiday season.
but with Halloween officially done... I'd like to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!
