I have had the most magical week. My best friends are here in Hong Kong with me, and I am having the best time making the switch in my job over to the outside world.
When Amy and Molly first got out of quarantine, they had to live at the Disneyland Hotel for a week, and with all of us in different sets of trainings, it made getting together a little more challenging. That just meant we had to meet up to play in the park and have DLH sleepovers together to get some time in.
Amy also brought me the best present ever, by sending me on a scavenger hunt that asked me to be her bridesmaid for her wedding next year!!!
We are having the best time hanging out and adventuring though.
We all had a great day off together visiting the
Pineapple Dam Nature Trail and visiting the monkeys!
There were also wild cows this time too!
It was such a lovely, small hike, and the beautiful views and great company made for a great day.

We also visited Repulse Bay Beach, and had a lovely day. The rain held off, we had great food, great company, and just chilled. Glad we got some outdoor time in together before the rainy season started, cause it's gonna rain like the next 20 days.
and there is such an amazing temple right on the beach.
We also visited
Happy Valley Race Course which hadn't been opened for so long, and we had not been to since 2016. We lost about $300 HKD but we had won a few little races along the way. We still had a great night picking our favorite horse names and hanging with some cool people.
Mike and I's major food adventure this month was visiting the HK Popeye's, which we thought was going to be a myth but turns out its pretty similar to home!
For dessert, we tried the YiFang bubble waffle that looks like a cute bubble tea, and on the inside can be filled with sesame, bubble tea boba, custard, or plain. We tried the custard, and these little guys were quite tasty!
In this mall,
Mike's Mirror music video was playing, which was really cool!
I was also so excited to finally get to brunch with my girlies and with Molly being vegan, we had to find some options that worked for everyone, so
Elephant Grounds it is!
One of the best nights was dinner at
Oola, where we spent the night laughing and hanging out.
We had a celebratory dinner in Discovery Bay at
Cali Mex, where the rain mostly held off so we could take some photos.
Mike and I also ended up at
L.D.K. by Ufufu Cafe and were pleasantly surprised at the delicious food and sundaes.
Things have been quite exciting the last few weeks, making lots of new friends. I have been having the absolute best time making the switch over to the outside world. Meet some of my new besties (and I am so sorry for the overload of photos...)
Ariel was the most excited for her human legs!
One of my favorite days was spent with Princess Aurora. I have always felt like she and I were destined to meet, so finally getting to spend days dreaming with her was absolutely magical.

Make it blue! Make it green!
After a fall off my bike, and scratching up my body pretty good, I spent a lot of time with Cinderella while my fingers, knee, and shoulder healed up. I felt like I really got comfortable with her and really enjoy making wishes with her. 3 weeks later, and I am finally 99% healed also!
After 9 years, I finally returned to my tale as old as time with my original friend, Belle. It's been such an enchanting time seeing her again.

Still a few more friends to come but we will have to wait and see who shows up along the way!
