Happy first blog post of 2026. This January I have gone almost completely nocturnal while we are filming this Hallmark movie at Disney. Thankfully I didn't have to work on my birthday, I just had to figure out my sleep schedule. Mike was also photographing the Disney World marathon, so while he worked, I slept, and then we got to actually hang out together at normal people hours. I was surprised to wake up to some fun decorations in the living room!
I took the morning slow, and then he brought home Chick Fil A for lunch.
We went out to Starbucks for a little treat also, where I got the biggest latte I have ever seen in my life and enjoyed the beautiful sun I hadn't seen in over a week.
We had passes to go to Disney's mini putt putt course, Winter Summerland, and felt like today was the day to use these. We had a lot of fun on the interactive course, and let's just let the record show that I won. No need to look at actual scores or anything, just trust me on this one, it was my birthday, so I definitely, no questions asked, won.
This is where the hole in 1's started to happen...

After putt putt we went home and did presents and cake. I had a Jeremiahs Ice Cream cake, and it was delicious.
All I wanted for dinner was bread sticks, so Olive Garden for dinner it was.
It was a great day all in all and I am so thankful for the birthday love. Back at work I was even surprised with a little cake from my freelance family.
Mike has had this awful cold for almost a whole month now that has been kickin his booty, but that wasn't going to get him down about getting to do a marathon shift!
Almost a month later and he is finally feeling better, which is great timing because we had some friends in town working on the movie with me, that we had a day off to spend at Epcot's Festival of the Arts.
We had some tasty food that I was so tired I forgot to take photos of....
There was also a Broadway performance from Aladdin's Adam Jacobs and Isabelle McCalla.
I really enjoyed walking through the Disney on Broadway show displays as well.
We had a great time in the cold hanging out with our buddies!
We also did a little Universal day to use my holiday coupons and discount meal, where we finally tried the burgushi from
Cowfish, and it was really good!
After a full month of almost every day being an overnight, we wrapped our Hallmark movie. This was my first official movie and being on it start to finish was a lot, but a really great experience. I can't wait for the holidays for it to come out and finally see our hard work pay off.
And after all that hard work, it's time for some play. I will be on the newest Disney Cruise Line ship the Adventure for about 3 weeks at the end of February, but before that Mike and I have crammed in our own cruise for fun next week, a Disneyland trip, and I go out to Asia early for the Adventure and had a little pre-adventure of my own, so you do NOT want to miss the next few blog posts!
