Big news! this guy is now the big 3-0! Happiest of birthdays to my favorite human. So glad we got to celebrate Mike with a tram party with our friends. The tram rides around the city, while we soak in the views. Drew made an amazing birthday tram party video so you can see all the fun

This was such a memorable night, and a great time to ring in Mike's 30th year around the sun.
We also celebrated this week by spending some time together just the two of us at our favorite little beach spot and zooming with family.
A big thanks to those who send cards! Mike felt so loved.
This week was also Mid Autumn Festival, which happened to fall on Mike's birthday this year.
We went to the lantern market in Yuen Long, and were incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of people picking out their lanterns. But we found our cute little traditional lantern and Amy found a cute little penguin.
The evening of, we sat in our park and listened to the music playing and hung out with some friends while we snacked on moon cakes.
I must have officially passed the torch cause Holli got pooped on by bird instead of me!
Most of it felt kind of the same, but the small upgrades to the entrance have been some new LED screens and some of the historical elements added in.
The loading spot could have been updated with some AC cause it was burning hot right here though.
The tram ride itself was pretty similar to that of the past.
The view from the top is always breath taking, but this time we had to make it quick cause we were actually cooking on top of the building it was so hot.
On the way to the peak, we had made some pit stops to the
zoological and botanical gardens to visit the monkeys and other animals.
We also walked through the
HK Park and enjoyed the waterfalls and koi ponds.
And we stopped at
Sour Dough Cafe for lunch, which I highly recommend.
Homemade scone with rhubarb compote and tahini vanilla cream and it was amazing.
This was such a great (hot) day, but we had a lovely time. We have had a few other day off adventures as well.
Mike and I had a little beach day at Golden Beach-
We had a fun little movie night premiere-
Mike and I decided to do a staycation at the Disneyland Hotel since it was a great deal and we had such a great time. We just relaxed by the pool, had dinner at the Explorers Lodge hotel, and listened to the thunderstorms from our balcony.

We even had mickey waffles for breakfast!It was such a nice little staycay!
Work has also been pretty busy. I had the best day ever chatting and greeting with guests in the castle with Rapunzel-
We closed out princess week by dancing on the steps one last time but this time with Aurora-Now that princess week has ended, the small train moment is back, and I finally got to dance with Snow White on it.
Lina Bell also officially made her way to Hong Kong Disneyland! Lina Bell is a part of the Duffy and Friends merchandise, which is Disney's official teddy bear brand. They are very popular in the parks in Asia, and often hard to get your hands on because they sell out so quickly. Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous Snow White got to meet Lina Bell before I did.
Halloween season starts this weekend, and although it's going to be so fun, it's going to be a hot and busy time.
