thing im most thankful for is elastic waistbands

We have a lot of ground to cover in this blog post, so hang on to your hats kids.

Amy's fiance George was able to come visit us in HK, and we had a great time spending time showing him around.

My favorite thing we did was a night time cruise on the Aqua Luna . It was very windy, but a lovely evening.

We also ticked another bucket list item, visiting Ozone, one of the tallest bars in HK.

taking the elevator to the 115 floor....
with it's epic views of the bathrooms...

We also saw this really strange advertisement on the MTR subway on our way there...sooo weird.

There was of course a lot of time together at HKDL riding the rides, meeting the characters, and eating the snacks. After George left, Amy's mom came for a visit as well, and we also showed her around the park.

We welcomes Black Panther into our midst at HKDL, after seeing the new film-

Finally got to see Amy in "Let's Get Wicked" and her last show with Merida in "Mickey and the Wondrous Book".

Definitely emotional for me, but not as emotional as watching Momentous fireworks with her for the last time.

Halloween season finally came to a close for us at HK Disney, and although I was tired, I was a little sad to say bye to Cruella and Maleficent. I was very glad Mike got to come and meet them though.

Maleficent was my favorite villain to hang with, and I will surely miss her. Hope she has sweet nightmares.

Mike also met Lady Tremaine and her daughters during Halloween season and had a hilarious time.

Now that Halloween has ended, Christmas has officially come to town!

And as a special Christmas treat, Prince Phillip has also made his way to HKDL finally!

When we're not at the park, we showed George  around our home complete with all the turtle ponds and egg tarts.

We also took Amy's mom on the Star Ferry and had a cute little picnic outside, because, although visitors are allowed into the country without quarantine now, they still have 3 days after they land in HK where they are not allowed to eat in restaurants, go to theme parks, or do anything that requires a mask off.

We did a few hikes as well. Our favorite is to the Ng Tung Chai Waterfalls, where this time it was almost too cold to get in the water!

We celebrated Holli's birthday with a fun zip lining adventure. We had a small hike to get to our end destination, where we spent the day zip lining, rock climbing, and repelling down the rocks.

It was such a fun adventure day, but my favorite part was the evening visit to Cheesecake Factory, which blew my mind that it was just like the one from the states!

Other food adventures include a little brunch at Brunch Club, after Amy paid her taxes-

I cannot believe this contract has come to a close so quickly. I am incredibly glad Amy was able to come out, we were able to stay, and made some amazing memories together. I am so so so sad to see her go, but knowing we have a countdown til we see each other again is very helpful.
Before we left for vacation, we celebrated Thanksgiving, family style. Everyone brought a dish to share, we cooked yet another turkey in a toaster oven, and hung out playing games, chatting, and turkey trotting. It was a lovely day.

We are leading in just under 24 hours to go back home to the States for 2 weeks to finally see our families after 2.5 years and I could not be more excited. It has been a long time coming!
